Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.

Known as the "judicial capital of the world," The Hague is the center for everything official in the Netherlands: the home of the Dutch government and parliament, the workplace of the King and Queen, and the base of many international affairs such as the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.
On the 9th (Mon), steep yourself in history at Madurodam, pause for some serene contemplation at Old Church, pause for some serene contemplation at Nieuwe Kerk, then take in the exciting artwork at The Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery, then ponder the world of politics at Binnenhof & Ridderzaal (Inner Court & Hall of the Knights), and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Maria van Jessekerk.

You can drive from Utrecht to The Hague in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. In August, daytime highs in The Hague are 24°C, while nighttime lows are 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Tue) so you can go by car to Frankfurt.

A global center of finance and transportation, Frankfurt is perhaps best known for its futuristic cityscape.
