World Heritage-listed Edinburgh combines ancient and modern in a uniquely Scottish atmosphere.
Go for a jaunt from Edinburgh to Glasgow to see Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum about 1h 10 min away. There's much more to do: make a trip to The Royal Mile, explore the world behind art at Scottish National Gallery, contemplate the long history of The Real Mary King's Close, and see the interesting displays at National Museum of Scotland.

Inverness, often described as the Gateway to the Highlands, is a thriving commercial and industrial center.
Change things up with these side-trips from Inverness: River Foyers (in Foyers), Aigas Field Centre (in Beauly) and Highland Falconry at The Struy Inn (in Struy). There's much more to do: gain some tasty knowledge on a distillery tour, explore the wealth of natural beauty at Cairngorms National Park, head outdoors with Aviemore Ospreys, and stroll through Coire Mhic Fhearchair.
