Kivik is a locality situated in Simrishamn Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 960 inhabitants in 2010. Get in touch with nature at Smalandet Markaryds Algsafari and Stenshuvud National Park. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Lund Cathedral and Ales Stenar. Change things up with these side-trips from Kivik: Naturum Vattenriket (in Kristianstad) and Marine Museum Karlskrona (in Karlskrona). There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Ravlunda Kyrka.

Start off your visit on the 28th (Wed): explore the historical opulence of Kalmar Castle, enjoy some diversion at Stadsparken, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Kalmar Cathedral, then snap pictures at Ölandsbron, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ryssby Kyrka. On the next day, take an in-depth tour of Kalmar County Museum, stroll the grounds of Torsas Church, and then delve into the distant past at Eketorp.

Located on the largest island in the Baltic Sea, the historical port town of Visby features one of the best-preserved medieval city walls in northern Europe.
Visby City Wall and Drottens ruin will appeal to history buffs. Step out of the city life by going to Hogklint Naturreservat and Bla Lagunen. Change things up with a short trip to Roma kloster och kungsgard in Roma (about 30 minutes away). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of St. Mary's Cathedral, delve into the lush surroundings at Furilden Naturreservat, take in nature's colorful creations at Botaniska Tradgarden, and see the interesting displays at Gotlands Museum.

On the 2nd (Mon), take in the spiritual surroundings of Linkoping Cathedral, make a trip to Bergs slussar, then step into the grandiose world of Vadstena Castle, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at S:ta Birgittas kloster Pax Mariae, and finally admire the engineering at Norsholms sluss, Gota kanal. On the 3rd (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Kolmården Zoo, then learn about all things military at Flygvapenmuseum, and then get engrossed in the history at Linkopings Castle- and Cathedral museum.
