The oldest of Norway's major cities, Trondheim sits on the southern shore of one of the country's longest fjords.
Visit Kristiansten Fortress and Munkholmen batteri for their historical value. Appreciate the collections at Rockheim and Erkebispegarden (Archbishop's Palace).
