Venice is known for historic sites, museums, and nature. Chamarel, Mauritius to Venice is an approximately 14.5- hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight, shuttle, and train. The time zone changes from Mauritius Standard Time to Central European Standard Time, which is usually a -3 hour difference. In March, Venice is much colder than Chamarel - with highs of 17°C and lows of 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Mon) to allow time to take a bus to Verona.

The famous setting for Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, Verona is one of northern Italy's main tourist destinations, largely owing to its incredibly rich artistic heritage.
Kick off your visit on the 31st (Tue): take in the views from Ponte Scaligero (Ponte di Castelvecchio), take in the spiritual surroundings of Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore, see the interesting displays at Casa di Giulietta, enjoy breathtaking views from Torre dei Lamberti, then take a stroll through Piazza delle Erbe, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa delle Sante Teuteria e Tosca. On your second day here, don't miss a visit to Piazza Bra, then explore the historical opulence of Museo di Castelvecchio, then relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, and finally take a stroll through Quinzano.

Getting from Venice to Verona by bus takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a shuttle. In March, Verona is much warmer than Venice - with highs of 34°C and lows of 34°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Wed) early enough to take a train to Milan.

Start off your visit on the 2nd (Thu): don't miss a visit to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Duomo di Milano, then see La Casa Maledetta, and finally explore the world behind art at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana.

Traveling by train from Verona to Milan takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Expect a daytime high around 22°C in April, and nighttime lows around 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Thu) so you can catch the train to Florence.
