The cultural and economic hub of northern Norway, Tromso boasts a historical city center containing one of the highest concentrations of wooden houses in Europe.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Sat): admire the landmark architecture of Arctic Cathedral, then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, and then take in the exciting artwork at Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum. On the next day, look for all kinds of wild species at Telegrafbukta Beach and then see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour.
