Explore Santiago's surroundings by going to Casona Veramonte (in Casablanca) and Humedal El Yali (in San Antonio). Appreciate the collections at Museo de La Plata and Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales Bernardino Rivadavia. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Catedral de la Plata and Planetario Ciudad de La Plata. Get out of town with these interesting Buenos Aires side-trips: Reserva Municipal Refugio Natural Educativo Ribera Norte (in Acassuso), Reserva Natural Urbana (in Castelar) and San Isidro (Catedral de San Isidro & Villa Ocampo).
