On the 28th (Tue), explore the striking landscape at The Old Man of Storr, take in the dramatic natural features at Kilt Rock, then take in the dramatic natural features at Quiraing (Hill Walk), and finally take in the dramatic scenery at Lealt Falls. Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Discover out-of-the-way places like Ben Nevis and McCaig's Tower. Get out of town with these interesting Fort William side-trips: Oban (Parsley the Ambassador Cat & Oban Distillery) and Glenfinnan Viaduct (in Glenfinnan). Inverness, often described as the Gateway to the Highlands, is a thriving commercial and industrial center.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): look for all kinds of wild species at RZSS Highland Wildlife Park and then gain some tasty knowledge on a distillery tour.
