Timișoara is the capital city of Timiș County, and the main social, economic and cultural centre in western Romania.The third most populous city in the country, with 319,279 inhabitants as of the 2011 census, Timișoara is the informal capital city of the historical region of Banat. Kick off your visit on the 8th (Sun): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Timisoara Orthodox Cathedral, pause for some photo ops at Timisoara Historical Center, then make a trip to Piata Victoriei, then admire the landmark architecture of The Palace of the Serbian Episcopacy, and finally make a trip to Unirii Square. Here are some ideas for day two: take in nature's colorful creations at Roses Park, take an in-depth tour of Memorialul Revolutiei, then practice your aim at Mag Tehnica, and finally stroll around Cathedral Park.

With the dramatic Carpathian Mountains as backdrop, Brasov is the largest city in a region of mountain resorts.
Venture out of the city with trips to Predeal Monastery (in Predeal), Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle) (in Bran) and Sinaia (Sinaia Monastery & Peles Castle). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Black Church (Biserica Neagra), get your game on at Quad Team Building, make a trip to Council Square, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Tampa.
