The multicultural Cluj-Napoca is the capital of the historic region of Transylvania.
Visiting Baile Figa and Cheile Turzii - Turda Gorge will get you outdoors. Spend the 18th (Thu) exploring nature at National Ethnographic Park. Next up on the itinerary: take in the dramatic scenery at Bridal Veil Falls, let little ones run wild at Iulius Park, head outdoors with Panic Room, and take in the dramatic natural features at Cetatuia Hill.

Reminiscent of the height of the bourgeoisie and retaining much of its medieval architecture, Sibiu is Romania's cultural gem.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Lutheran Evangelical Cathedral & Tower. Popular historic sites such as Old Town and The Lower Town of Sibiu (orasul de jos) are in your itinerary. Get outdoors at Transfagarasan Highway and Moldoveanu Peak. Change things up with these side-trips from Sibiu: Aventura Parc Dragus (in Dragus) and Citadel of Alba Iulia (in Alba Iulia). Get outdoors at Mount Tampa and Valtour Ski School. Peles Castle and Rasnov Citadel are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Brasov's surroundings by going to Sinaia Monastery (in Sinaia) and Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle) (in Bran). The adventure continues: wander the streets of Brasov Historical Center, do a tasting at Natura in Bucate, take in the spiritual surroundings of Black Church (Biserica Neagra), and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Holy Trinity Church.
