Almada is a city and a municipality in Portugal, located on the southern margin of the Tagus River, on the opposite side of the river from Lisbon. You'll get in some beach time at Praia de Galapinhos and Figueirinha Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Parque Natural da Arrabida and Ribeira do Cavalo Beach. Go for a jaunt from Almada to Palmela to see Casa Mae da Rota de Vinhos about 30 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: appreciate the history behind Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei, kick back and relax at Praia da California, stroll through Lagoa de Albufeira Beach, and make a trip to Overlooking Lisbon.

You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Praia Fluvial de Mourao and Praia Fluvial de Monsaraz. Step out of Evora to go to Monsaraz and see Monsaraz Castle and Walls, which is approximately 52 minutes away. Odemira is a town and a municipality in Beja District in the Portuguese region of Alentejo. Visit Praia do Carvalhal and Praia Grande for some beach relaxation. Get outdoors at Rota Vicentina and Praia da Azenha do Mar.
