A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Get a sense of the local culture at Palace of Versailles and Musee d'Orsay. Your inner history buff will appreciate Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris and Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre. Sao Paulo, Brazil to Paris is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone changes from Brasilia Time (BRT) to Central European Time (CET), which is usually a 4 hour difference. Traveling from Sao Paulo in May, things will get little chillier in Paris: highs are around 20°C and lows about 11°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) so you can travel to Nice.

Do some cultural sightseeing at Palatine Hill and Pantheon. Vatican Museums and Colosseum will appeal to history buffs. When in Rome, make a side trip to see Villa Adriana in Tivoli, approximately 36 minutes away.
