Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Venture out of the city with trips to Denmark (Elephant Rocks, Greens Pool, &more). Next up on the itinerary: see the interesting displays at National Anzac Centre, explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, get great views at Padre White Lookout, and stroll around Albany Heritage Park.
