A history spanning over a thousand years, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Georgian and modern architecture make Dublin a popular European tourist destination.
Change things up with these side-trips from Dublin: Ferns Castle (in Ferns), The National 1798 Rebellion Centre (in Enniscorthy) and Kilkenny (Kilkenny Castle, Go With The Flow - River Adventures, & more). Spend the 3rd (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Spend the 7th (Sat) on the rails with a train tour. There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Kilmainham Gaol, tour the pleasant surroundings at St. Stephen's Green, get the lay of the land with Walking tours, and sample the fine beverages at Jameson Distillery Bow St..

If you are flying in from Brazil, the closest major airport is Dublin Airport. Expect a daytime high around 22°C in August, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
