With a rich cultural scene and plenty of developed beaches, Montevideo vacations appeal to a growing number of visitors from around the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at Ciudad Vieja and Pocitos. Your inner history buff will appreciate Catedral de Montevideo and Iglesia de las Carmelitas. Londrina, Brazil to Montevideo is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Londrina in July, with highs in Montevideo at 18°C and lows at 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) to allow enough time to ride a ferry to Buenos Aires.

Santiago tourism thrives largely thanks to the city's big selection of cultural and entertainment options, including museums, theaters, restaurants, bars, and giant malls.
Family-friendly places like Valle Nevado - Ski Resort Chile and Central Market (Mercado Central) will thrill your kids. Visit Centro Cultural Palacio de la Moneda y Plaza de la Ciudadania and Santuario de la Inmaculada Concepcion for their historical value. Go for a jaunt from Santiago to Pirque to see Concha y Toro about 38 minutes away. Dedicate the 17th (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
