A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Visiting Île de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis will get you outdoors. Head to Le Marais and Les Expressivesfor some retail therapy. Step out of Paris to go to Versailles and see Palace of Versailles, which is approximately 48 minutes away. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Eiffel Tower, browse the exhibits of Centre National d'Art et de Culture George Pompidou, wander the streets of Montmartre, and examine the collection at Musee Rodin.

Cairo, Egypt to Paris is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or drive. The time zone changes from Eastern European Time (EET) to Central European Time (CET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Expect colder weather when traveling from Cairo in June: highs in Paris hover around 27°C, while lows dip to 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Mon) so you can take a train to Bayeux.
