Alesund

A lively seaport renowned for its high concentration of Art Nouveau buildings, Alesund stretches over seven islands and features a compact city center almost entirely surrounded by water.
Appreciate the collections at Galleri Artifex and Sunnmoere Museum. Take a break from the city and head to Fishing Charters & Tours and Lidaveten. Step out of Alesund to go to Volda and see Melshornet, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Jugendstilsenteret and Kunstmuseet Kube, stroll through Tueneset and Hessabana, and view the masterpieces at Ingrids Glassverksted.
