Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Get a sense of the local culture at Anne Frank House and Rijksmuseum. Head to Leidseplein and The Mauritshuis Royal Picture Galleryfor some retail therapy. Take a break from Amsterdam with a short trip to Grote Markt in Haarlem, about 40 minutes away. There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Van Gogh Museum, take a stroll through The Jordaan, contemplate the long history of Museum Het Rembrandthuis (Rembrandt House), and hunt for treasures at Albert Cuyp Market.
