Visiting Colle del Gianicolo and Cascata delle Marmore will get you outdoors. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Basilica Papale San Paolo fuori le Mura and Duomo di Orvieto. Change things up with a short trip to Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta Spoleto in Spoleto (about 2 hours away).
