A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
On the 17th (Fri), explore the world behind art at Louvre Museum, then admire the landmark architecture of Arc de Triomphe, and then explore the world behind art at Musee d'Orsay. On the next day, take in nature's colorful creations at Luxembourg Gardens, make a trip to Luxembourg Palace, then pause for some serene contemplation at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, then get a taste of the local shopping with Champs-Elysees, and finally see the interesting displays at Rex Studios Paris.

Kids will appreciate attractions like Spiaggia di Seccione and Spiaggia di Cavoli. Go for a jaunt from Portoferraio to Campo nell'Elba to see Spiaggia di Fetovaia about 44 minutes away.
