Step out of the city life by going to Aviario Nacional de Colombia and Scuba & Snorkeling. Discover out-of-the-way places like Plaza Bolivar and Sanctuary of Saint Peter Claver. Curitiba, Brazil to Cartagena is an approximately 12-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. You'll gain 2 hours traveling from Curitiba to Cartagena due to the time zone difference. In June, Cartagena is much warmer than Curitiba - with highs of 38°C and lows of 30°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) early enough to travel to Lima.

Kick off your visit on the 5th (Wed): steep yourself in history at Centro Historico de Lima, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco, then delve into the distant past at Huaca Pucllana, and finally take a stroll through Barranco.
