Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
On the 21st (Sun), look for gifts at La Bauta, contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, then get a taste of the local shopping with ar33studio, and finally view the masterpieces at Giudecca 795 Art Gallery. On the 22nd (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, then admire the striking features of Doge's Palace, then get to know the fascinating history of St. Mark's Square, and finally browse for treasures at Libreria antiquaria Segni nel Tempo.
