Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.On the 5th (Sat), pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola. Here are some ideas for day two: delve into the distant past at Pantheon, explore the engaging exhibits at Welcome to Rome, admire the masterpieces at Villa Farnesina, then admire the landmark architecture of Le Domus Romane di Palazzo Valentini, and finally don't miss a visit to Piazza Venezia.
