Mexico City

— 47 nights

City of Palaces

Breathtakingly large, Mexico City provides a home for almost 9 million people living in nearly 1,700 distinct neighborhoods.
Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Nacional de Antropologia and Metropolitan Cathedral (Catedral Metropolitana). You'll find plenty of places to visit near Mexico City: Ex Convent of Acolman (in Acolman), Tochatlaco (in Zempoala) and Cuernavaca (Palacio de Cortes, Robert Brady Museum, &more). Spend the 16th (Fri) floating through the air with a balloon tour. There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at Palacio de Bellas Artes, get engrossed in the history at Museo del Templo Mayor, walk around Bosque de Chapultepec, and explore the ancient world of Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacan Estacionamiento Puerta 5.

To see more things to do, where to stay, ratings, and more tourist information, refer to the Mexico City trip website.

If you are flying in from Brazil, the closest major aiports are Licenciado Benito Juarez International Airport, Querétaro Intercontinental Airport and Felipe Angeles International Airport. In July, daily temperatures in Mexico City can reach 27°C, while at night they dip to 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
