Cultural capital of South America, Buenos Aires remains one of the largest cities on the continent, serving as a point of departure for exploring the rest of the country.
Start off your visit on the 3rd (Wed): wander the streets of Recoleta, admire the natural beauty at Parque 3 de Febrero, thenadmire the masterpieces at Museo Nacional De Arte Decorativo, thenpause for some serene contemplation at Basilica del Santisimo Sacramento, and finally see the interesting displays at Museo Del Bicentenario. Keep things going the next day: wander the streets of Puerto Madero, thenexplore the activities along Delta El Tigre, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral de San Isidro.

Lima, Peru to Buenos Aires is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Lima to Buenos Aires, you'll lose 2 hours due to the time zone difference. In July, Buenos Aires is slightly colder than Lima - with highs of 58°F and lows of 48°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) early enough to travel to Montevideo.
