Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.
Appreciate the collections at Walhalla and Deutsches Museum. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Audi Museum and Margarete Steiff Museum. Get out of town with these interesting Munich side-trips: Fuggerei (in Augsburg) and Regensburg (Cathedral of St Peter's & Old Town). And it doesn't end there: admire the natural beauty at Schloss Nymphenburg, explore the world behind art at Municipal Gallery in Lenbach House, see the interesting displays at BMW Welt, and admire the striking features of BMW Headquarters.

If you are flying in from Brazil, the closest major airports are Flughafen München-Riem, Memmingen Allgau Airport and Nuremberg Airport. Expect a daytime high around 5°C in February, and nighttime lows around -3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
