Rome
— 4 nights

Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Villa Borghese and Cupola di San Pietro. Get some cultural insight at Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica. There's much more to do: explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill, explore the different monuments and memorials at Vatican Necropolis, appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza Venezia, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri.
