Santiago tourism thrives largely thanks to the city's big selection of cultural and entertainment options, including museums, theaters, restaurants, bars, and giant malls.
Get a sense of the local culture at La Chascona and Casa de Isla Negra. Get outdoors at San Cristóbal Hill and Reñaca. Venture out of the city with trips to Roca Oceanica (in Concon), Corporacion Museo de Arqueologia e Historia Francisco Fonck (in Vina del Mar) and Museo Mirador Lukas (in Valparaiso). Next up on the itinerary: get engrossed in the history at Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, walk around Cerro Santa Lucia, steep yourself in history at Centro Cultural Palacio de la Moneda y Plaza de la Ciudadania, and enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Punta De Tralca.
