Porto, Portugal to Inverness is an approximately 9- hour combination of flight and bus. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of car and train. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Porto in June, with highs in Inverness at 19°C and lows at 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Wed) early enough to travel to Wick.

Durness is a village and civil parish in the north-west Highlands of Scotland. On the 7th (Fri), enjoy the sand and surf at Rispond Beach, explore the galleries of Lotte Glob, and then kick back and relax at Balnakeil Beach.
