Located in the southeast of Isla Isabela, Puerto Villamil is home to the majority of the island's 2,200 inhabitants.
On the 9th (Mon), make a trip to Malecon Cuna del Sol, head off the coast to Las Tintoreras, then pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia Cristo Salvador, and finally see some colorful creatures with Pahoehoe Galapagos Tours. On the next day, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Puerto Villamil, explore the activities along Laguna de los Diablos, step off the mainland to explore Turtle Island, then get to know the resident critters at Centro de Crianza Tortugas Gigantes Arnaldo Tupiza Chamaidan, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Posada de flamengos.
