I could spend all day here and not run out of fun things to see and learn about. The Riverside Museum is one of the better museums I've visited, and they seemed to have every sort of Scottish transportation on display. I was especially intrigued by the unique displays they had on old preserved boats they excavated from river banks. They had to be at least a few thousand years old, and were in good enough shape to be on display. Kudos to the curators, who have made a fantastic presentation! I only wish I had more time to peruse the impressive collection.

Really liked this museum. Good selection of displays relating to transport. Great to see the old vehicles all laid out in a nice modern building making it easy to walk round and view them all. Free entry and Wifi is always a bonus. All in all a great wee place to spend a couple of hours in with the kids. Would definitely recommend.
