Marvel at lifelike wax figures of the world's most famous actors and actresses, athletes, entertainers, and politicians at Madame Tussauds London. This is the original site of the museum that's become a franchise in nine other cities around the globe. Wax sculptor Marie Tussaud established the museum in 1884, and today it houses over 300 figures. The figures on display change frequently to keep up with the times, but you can expect to find sculptures of famous people from both the past and present. After viewing the exhibits, sit for a 4-D movie on a 360-degree screen, and then enter the Scream! house of horrors. Purchase your tickets online before you visit to reduce both the price of admission and your wait to enter. Before you head to London, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly London road trip planner, to make sure you see all that London has to offer, including Madame Tussauds London.

  • What fun this "path" from Madame Tussauds London! Interactive games, perfect wax statues. Great for those who want to spend several fun hours.

  • Well it was better than my expectations honestly, but I can't say it's on the must visit list for a short stay in London. I went with my family on my 5th visit to London, I expected there will be more...  more »

  • A fabulous place to visit. You feel like going through a lot of history. Very interesting and fun way of learning for me. Ends with the modern day Actors and Pop Stars. It also has a Madame Tussauds shop to buy some memorabilia. Great day out. It could however have been a bit bigger though, as lesser attention has been given to modern day stars.
  • Great place to visit! Lots of familiar faces and photo opportunities, the experience of the 4D was amazing. You could spend hours and hours here. Small ques for photos when it’s busy but nothing unbearable. Loss of one star as it’s relatively easy to get to if you know where you’re going- do your research of what trains/buses to get prior to your travels.
