No ordinary theme park, Drayton Manor Theme Park includes a resort area and a zoo with over 100 species from around the world. Covering over 110 hectares (280 acres), the park offers its two million annual visitors a variety of activities suitable for the whole family. Stop by to enjoy a ride on the Shockwave, Europe’s only stand-up roller coaster, or get your daily dose of adrenaline on the Apocalypse, a five-sided drop tower. Arguably the park’s most notable feature is Thomas Land, dedicated to the popular Thomas & Friends television show. This special section features children’s rides, live shows, Thomas & Friends exhibits, and indoor and outdoor play areas. Check online for discounts and special events. The park is open from mid-March through early November. • Everything at this park was perfect! Every toilet was clean and hygienic, all the food was lovely and every ride was clean. All off the rides worked smoothly (despite the odd malfunction due to weather) and they were all thrilling! Every children's ride in Thomas Land was perfect for small children and when one of the trains stopped working the employee's were very nice and explained the reason why. The annals.in the zoo were all clearly well looked after which made it a pleasant trip in the zoo. Thank you for this wonderful day out it was brilliant!
  • Great place, lots to do. Only thing that let it down was a few (not all) of the staff weren't very friendly and acted like they didn't want to be there. On the whole a great day out. We made a night of it and stayed in the hotel next door as well. Which was fantastic. Great staff, room was lovely and a decent breakfast.
