  • Amazing. Fantastic. Humongous. These are the adjectives that you would search to describe York Minster. It has rich history of over 600 years and structural challenges it faced. They describe everything in absolute detail so you can very well understand it. Half a day well spent. We also got a glimpse of the prayer and took 275 steps on the tower challenge. You need to be fit to climb these stairs. Not for small kids and older people. Entry is charged at £11 per person and the tower challenge is additional £5. Got some fantastic pictures here. With a wide angle lens you can shoot some exquisite pictures inside.
  • Such an amazing building. Full of interesting relics and history. It’s worth the walk up to the top to see the panoramic views of the city. Could spend a good few hours in there no problem. The sheer scale of the building is stunning. Takes your breath away.
