Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Brooklyn

4.8
Featured in classic New York films like Annie Hall and Moonstruck, Brooklyn Heights Promenade offers beautiful views of the East River and Statue of Liberty in Brooklyn’s oldest neighborhood. Brooklyn Heights is the Brooklyn borough's first Historic Preservation District. Its promenade, which opened to the public in 1950, features wooden benches to take in the Manhattan skyline, scenic greenery and flowers to contrast with the city’s concrete structures, and playgrounds for children to enjoy. Take a jog or romantic stroll down the promenade on your way to Brooklyn Bridge Park or before exploring the adjacent neighborhood’s brownstone-lined streets. • very nice facility with great flair. Great view of Downtown Manhattan. The area is constantly expanded and embellished. Very nice in this huge city

  • Beautiful view of the Skyline and Brooklyn bridge park after crossing the Brooklyn bridge. Nice place for lunch as benches line the whole walk which must be about 500m. On the way back to the brooklyn bridge, get lost in the streets behind, there are beautiful brownstone houses beautifully decorated this Halloween season. To test at sunset, it must be nice. Not really relaxing as the walk is above a fast lane.

  • One of the best views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. This long path is perfect for a romantic walk after dinner, just stop and gaze at the beautiful NYC skyline. Perfect place to take a stroll or ponder. Of course, don't forget to bring your camera!
  • A great place to view the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Skyline - all free! It’s a really easy walk in lovely surroundings. Easy access to Brooklyn Park. Definitely need to make it one if the must do list when visiting NYC. Best place to see Manhattan skyline at sunset. Lots of space and always something extra going on. Romantic or a good place to take some nice shots or timelapse of the sunset behind Manhattan.
