Enjoy a quiet stretch of sand at Las Olas Beach, which is also known for its restaurants. The beach is rarely crowded. Biking along the promenade is a popular pastime; you can rent a bike at one of a few shops near the beach. For authentic home cooking and fresh seafood, head to one of the restaurants on promenade. Consider a short water-taxi ride from the shore to visit some of the nearby sites along the coast. Las Olas Beach Reviews
Looked liked most people were wearing masks on the beach. Unlike Las Olas Blvd. that was alarming. The restaurants were very busy and so was the beach and it was around 6 pm. more »
OMG, just last week I paid $1.00/he for parking and this morning I go to the same meter and it's now $4.00/hr. I know that the city has a fiscal nightmare on its hands but WOW! Your gonna screw folks.... more »
This is a most relaxing time for the heat in South Florida. Awesome restaurants and little shops nearby. Also some nice hotels. But the better hotels are on the other side crossing Oakland Park Blvd. Right on Ocean Drive. Anyways, all on Ocean Drive going up all the way to Pompano Beach are plenty of GREAT hotels...plenty!
The beach is always clean. Parking is a little hard to find during the weekend (mainly on summer). Some parts are busier than others, but there’s always a spot for everyone. The BBQ area and the small playground is comfy with plenty of space to rest with family and friends.
