Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Reviews

Lots of wonderful hiking, fantastic views, and a real gem tucked away less than an hour from the Las Vegas strip. Make sure to stop in the visitors center - they have a junior rangers program for the kids, and an extremely great interactive display about how the elements of earth, air, fire, and water formed the scenery. It also teaches about the various animals and plants you can find in the area. The scenic loop is beautiful. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for?
Red Rock is a truly wonderful gem and a visual landmark that helps create the feel of the Vegas Valley. It is world renowned for rock climbing and is also a really great place to take a motorcycle ride through. If you are in the area and enjoy the outdoors, Red Rock is a must on your list. The color of the rocks is beautiful. If you are on the opposite end of the valley, Red Rock provides a great backdrop for watching the sun go down behind Mt. Charleston. Enjoy the many things you can do out there - hiking, a family picnic or a scenic drive. A great place to visit.
