Fantastic place to take a walk and watch the sunset. Easily accessible using the 7 or the ferry. Amazing views of Manhattan including the Empire State Building. Highly recommend you explore the path by the water and the observation point above. Love watching the dog run on the weekends too. It’s also very family friendly with places to play soccer and volleyball.
Our two years old loves this park. It is always have food, ice cream, music, ferry ride. My son enjoys the little kid playground with a city view. We often took a short boat ride to 34th street and returned right away. It's a kid friendly area with plenty of entertainments for adults as well. Even at 10pm, there is a lot of fun going on. My little boy is a night owl, and he hang out with many other little night owls there.
