Cool museum but I was expecting a lot more. The exhibitions were good but just a few were outstanding. I recommend to visit because is a must on your stay on New York. We went there at 11 am and it was not crowded, really good. The ticket it’s ok, not expensive. I hope to go back in the future and found better exhibitions 🙂
Went there for the first time last week and it immediately became one of my favorite places to go in New York, especially since it's free for residents! Not only were all the exhibits diverse, original, and innovative, by artists and groups of all backgrounds, but the permanent installations, in this repurposed school building, make the experience of just exploring the halls and stairways feel dreamlike and surreal. Definitely wouldn't discourage coming here on psychedelics.
