Bowfishing is one of the fastest growing sports in the outdoor industry. It merges the sport of hunting with archery and fishing, providing heart-pounding action for a thrilling adventure. Not only is it fun, it's also fish conservation at its finest, especially in the Everglades. There are a slew of invasive fish species in the Everglades and we target them all. In the Everglades, we target mainly blue tilapia, sailfin catfish, oscar, and some nongame fish as well like the bowfin and chain pickeral. In the Biscayne Bay, we target southern stingray, barracuda, sheepshead, striped mullet, and mangrove snapper.
Currently, we operate out of Miami, FL. Captain Donovan has 10+ years of bowfishing experience and is a Bass Pro Shops Endorsed Pro Staff. Launch sites include: Everglades Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale, Pelican Harbor Marina and Matheson Hammock Marina in Miami, Black Point Marina and Homestead Bayfront Marina in Homestead, and Gilbert's Marina in Key Largo.
Stay tuned, we are pending launch out of Prince George, VA. Captain Jesse will be offering bowfishing trips on the Chickahominy River and lower James River for carp and gar, and on the Patuxent River for stingrays.
For Florida, no saltwater fishing license is needed as our Charter license covers. We also have a license that covers all passengers for freshwater bowfishing as well. Our boat can accommodate up to 6 paid passengers with 4 shooters at a time.
All equipment is provided. Complimentary refreshments on board as well as complimentary fish cleaning at the end of charter. This is a great opportunity to try a new and exciting sport and share the love of bowfishing with friends and family. All fish are harvested within FWC regulations.
