Housed in a former Masonic Temple, Portland Art Museum holds a permanent collection of more than 42,000 works of art from around the world. This museum was founded in 1892 with the goal of creating a first-class art museum accessible to all of the community. Now, the museum continues to honor this mission, offering educational opportunities and special programs for children and adults. Explore the permanent collection, which includes European, Native American, Asian, American, and modern and contemporary art, as well as photography and graphic arts. After admiring the artwork, head to the on-site coffee shop to refuel or enjoy the scenery in the outdoor sculpture garden. Check the website for information about upcoming exhibits and events, such as artist talks, special tours, and lectures. ポートランドの一番の観光地といえます。ゴッホやピカソなどの巨匠の作品の他にも、日本の浮世絵やネイティブアメリカンの工芸品なども揃っています。見応え充分です。 more »
It is the best tourist spot in Portland. In addition to works by masters such as Van Gogh and Picasso, there are also Japanese ukiyo-e and Native American crafts. It's worth seeing.View original -

My family and I have been traveling back and forth between New York City and Portland for the last decade and a half. What a treat it is..consistently. We love being here and love venturing through Portland and discovering treasures like the Portland Art Museum. The exhibits were magnificent--we'll be back...

This place is BIG. First of all. Show up early if you're planning on seeing all the art. There are some art installations that are not in my interest but majority was really interesting to see. From modern weird postings to ancient artifacts. Cool place definitely a great visit
