The 107ist is an Independent Supporters Trust formed by members of the Timbers Army and fans of the Portland Timbers. The name is derived from Section 107 in Portland’s Providence Park, where the Timbers Army formed a decade ago. Supporters’ trusts are fan-based organizations formed to represent the interests of a team’s longtime fans.
The 107ist is paid-membership organization. It was formed following the 2009 season to help prepare for the surge of interest in the sport that will be generated in 2011, when Portland begins play in Major League Soccer. The 107ist is pursuing a 501(c7) tax exempt organization. The 107ist does the work that drives the Timbers Army:
• It creates and sells its own merchandise, which subsidizes fan-based activities such as road trips to away games, and builds reserves that can be directed to charitable purposes.
• It collaborates with Timbers front office on promotions and activities.
• It generates the game-day atmosphere in JELD-WEN Field.
•It has laid the groundwork for a public-service project that will improve youth soccer fields in the Portland metropolitan area.

Good stadium with great facilities. Odd layout with a three sided stadium but the Timbers Army make a great atmosphere! We had ‘obstructed view’ seat for $15 which is worth it. Have a go! more »
