United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington DC

Excellent experience to reflect about the horror that humankind is capable of. Daniel’ Story is very moving and its exhibition is very very well designed. The main exhibit is absolutely stunning. How they captured every single detail to give you the perspective of the Holocaust. Being able to see all the facts in chronological order it’s very impressive. Everyone should visit this museum. At the end of the main tour you’ll see a “memorial room” where you can have your prayers for all the innocent victims.

This place is an amazing testament to the horror and courage in the face of despair that humankind is capable of. The main exhibit is probably the cleanest and most well designed of all the museums near the national Mall. Beware this experience can take 3 hours and be emotionally draining, it's likely best to go in the morning and give yourself the rest of the day to process the experience and reflect. Be sure to visit the memorial/prayer room at the end of the main tour, it's a beautiful place of peace and a great way to wind down from the emotional and intellectual journey you're sure to experience here.
