Walk through the history of Tintin at the Belgian Comic Strip Center, which celebrates the art of the comic. The center is housed inside a former department store designed by Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta, whose great glass ceiling lets in enough natural light to illuminate the museum galleries. Exhibits showcase French, English, and Dutch comic art from its earliest days to the present. An extensive Tintin exhibit is the main attraction with the history of the artwork and its creator, and even life-size models of the characters. Browse copies of some of Europe's best-known comics and graphic novels in the reading room and library. A self-guided tour is the most popular way to explore the building and the exhibits, because information about each exhibit is available in multiple languages. Amazing museum, which superseded my expectations; apart the typical history of comics from the paleolithic to Yellow Kid and the various techniques, the icing on the cake was the Louvre exposition...

This was a great museum to visit for an afternoon. The exhibits were really interesting and the place was very well laid out. The only thing we found however was that with a lack of an audio guide, we felt a little lost and so ended up drifting through the end parts of the museum. The exhibit on the Louvre was really interesting too! The staff however were so lovely and welcoming which made the experience really enjoyable.
It's fine. Lots of cute exhibits, but you could get more from a book: It's mostly print outs and copies, with few statuettes and virtually no artifacts. The building is beautiful but poorly managed. It seems poorly maintained and was full of very odorous guests and staff.
