Parque Estadual do Caracol features the world-famous Caracol Waterfall, widely regarded as one of Brazil’s most spectacular falls. The waterfall is formed by the Caracol River and drops from a height of 130 m (426 ft). Situated in the middle of a lush forest, the base of the waterfall can be reached by a steep 927-step trail, which is well-maintained and marked. Nearby you can visit an observation tower, featuring a convenient elevator and offering panoramic views of the area. Cable car rides are also available, providing tourists with a unique opportunity to photograph the waterfall from the air. Stunning view of the main Caracol waterfall. There's another viewing platform which you can pay extra to go up, but the regualr one (included in the entry fee) is already spectacular. There's also a nice trail alongside the river with impressive views of the smaller falls.
