Home to an old Jewish community, the city opened Museu do Holocausto de Curitiba in 2011, the first and only institution of its kind in Brazil. You can take a free guided tour here, or choose to visit the exhibit at your own pace. Many displays are interactive, with original materials, such as numerous audio and visual recordings of survivor testimonies. The museum aims to preserve the memory of the Holocaust in the words of its victims, and to honor those who helped them and fought against hatred, racism, and prejudice. The museum is located inside the newly-built synagogue, which serves as a cultural and religious center of Jewish life here. this is a must go and know in Curitiba ...the museum of Holocaust and other expo.....just see and make an appointment previously to visit and taking pictures is forbidden

Requires reservations. I highly recommend asking for a guided tour - they have awesome mediators, and that made the experience all more remarkable!
