Create an itinerary including Parque das Aves Bird Park
At Parque das Aves Bird Park, visitors come into direct contact with colorful tropical birds. Located on 16 hectares (40 acres) in the Atlantic Rainforest, huge aviaries allow you to stay close and watch majestic winged animals fly. More than half of the birds inhabiting the park were rescued from trafficking and mistreatment and brought to the park to have a safe home. Feeding toucans, blue and yellow macaws, parrots, and other tropical birds a healthy diet of fresh, organic foods helps them become well again. In addition to birds, butterflies, and other animals can be found in the park. Through various activities, kids can learn about the center's breeding program. • Be sure to walk through this bird park. It's right next to the falls and very interesting. We even saw a toucan.

  • This place is amazing, what they're doing to protect these birds is amazing too! I highly recommend checking it out! Its really cool how you can go into the areas with the birds. The birds are very curious about you too. A lot of signage, stating a lot of facts about trafficking birds. The most notable is: 9 out 10 birds do not survive being trafficked.
  • It's great place to spend time with your loved ones. Pretty much entertaining and well structured. I'm sure that your kids would love it! Toilet, coffee shop, restaurant etc. all necessary things are also available and easy to access.
