Encapsulating the essence of Provence, you will see over 12 different varieties of lavender, interspersed with beautiful flowering plants and fruit trees, in this stunning, private garden. A guide will accompany you on your stroll through the wonderfully fragrant field of lilac, explaining the different properties of each species as you stop to examine them close up. Inside the greenhouse, you will find the more exotic plants, including cacti and succulents, as well as lavender seedlings. Le Jardin Parque de Lavanda is the only one of its kind in Brazil and aims to promote the power of the plant. To this effect, in the shop you can buy a range of lavender products, including essential oil, water, sachets, and pillows, to be used as treatment for various ailments, including insomnia, headaches, and anxiety. There is also a line of cosmetics, and you must try the unusual, yet delicious lavender chocolate. • R$20/person to enter. It’s a peaceful garden with great views of the mountain. I liked the landscaping. It has a decent recent restaurant with a gift shop. I ordered spinach and ricotta tortellini but it lacked flavor/spice/salt. Personally, I thought the prices were steep for the quality of food. The price of admission seems high for the size of the garden.
  • One of the most beautiful and satisfying place to visit in Gramado. Worth the visit.
