For a rainy day a nice museum to see. A pity there is nothing in english. So for Foreigners a struggle. 2 parts were closed for renovation and many empty spots were seen. It was ok... nothing more

Excellent museum that gives an insight on the nordeste culture, history of the city through the eyes of the ethnologist Camara Cascudo! Highly recommended and no entrance fee!

Really cool museum with free entrance. In January'18 there was 2 exhibition rooms with biology themes( evolution of birds, compared anatomy of mammals), 1 presenting the history of sugar production in the State and 1 photographic exhibition of a prison. The only cons are that there's no English(or any other language but portuguese) captions and the lack of interaction.
