In the heart of the Left Bank, Luxembourg Gardens is arguably the loveliest park in Paris, with lush lawns radiating out from a pond centerpiece. Inspired by the Boboli Gardens of Florence, these gardens were created in 1612 by Queen Marie de Medici. Whether you're by yourself or with a whole group, this park is a relaxing reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can watch locals play the legendary French game of boules or simply stroll past over 100 distinct statues. Luxembourg Gardens is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , custom trip planner Edition.

Grab a seat and sit in the sun (when it shines). On occasion listen to the band. Take the kids and sail a toy boat.

This park is gorgeous. Everywhere you look there is a statue, a flower, a tree....it is glorious. There are spots to get a delicious coffee or crepe. Take a walk, take a seat and enjoy!

It might be beautiful in some other season of the year, or when it is specifically decorated for people, but I visited in July, I did not find it very worthy to spend an hour here. Only if you want to take some rest while exploring the city, definitely you can find a chair beneath a shade and just rest for some time.

Gorgeous park. Good walks. Plenty of places for coffee. The sailboats are fun to watch, and the games the locals play with the metal balls are worth a few minutes while you eat popcorn. Lots of sculptures and good places to just relax.
